Application Rates
Dry Powder: Apply 1/2 cup per every 1000 gallons (3780 liters) of pond water
WARNING: Eye protection and proper fitting dust mask should be worn during application
NOTE: Our application rates are conservative to ensure safety of aquatic life. If desired results are not initially achieved, treatment can be repeated every 3 days until satisfied with results
Application instructions:
Liquid: For best results, dilute flocculent with pond water (8L per 30ml dose) and apply final solution to pond edges. If needed, repeat application 24 hours later.
Dry: Powdered flocculent can be sprinkled as a powder on surface or through waterfall. Ensure floc is able to circulate through the pond with aeration, waterfalls or circulators.
For difficult ponds, the treatment can be repeated every 72 hours until the desired results are achieved.
Water will initially turn a milky white but should be clear by the next day.
IF APPLYING TO FISH PONDS: Note that pH of water in fish ponds should be between 6.5 & 8.2.
MIXING FLOC WITH WATER AT A pH OF 8.2 OR HIGHER CAN BE TOXIC TO FISH
